Do you feel like you don't get to use your camper enough?
Do you hesitate to book a site in advance because you are concerned about the weather?
Do you find it difficult to book a site in advance, and when you do try, you find that things are already full?
Do you feel like you are paying storage on a camper you never use?
Have you thought about a seasonal spot but heard horror stories about poorly maintained, cramped sites in a party zone? What is a seasonal site? Glad you asked!
A seasonal site is NOT a permanent residence site, nor a monthly site. It is for recreational use only. You rent the site for the season (April-October). You can choose to store your camper over the winter as well. It is a site for those who want to use their RVs frequently but don't want to deal with the hassle of moving the camper and the setup and takedown each weekend.
Seasonal Site Offerings
We’re excited to offer seasonal sites at the Double Nickel Campground for 2026!
Here’s what you can expect if you rent a seasonal site from us:
1. It is your Exclusive Site:
o Your site is exclusively yours. Feel free to come and go as you please.
o If you take your camper elsewhere for the weekend or vacation, your site
will be waiting for you when you return.
o Sharing your site with another camper, family or extended family is never
allowed. This offering is exclusively for you and your immediate family
members. Seasonal sites are for a single camper. Tents or other
sleeping structures are not allowed on your site.
o Occupancy is based on up to six persons; exceptions will be made for
larger families but will not include grandparents or grandchildren.
o We will maintain the grass around your site however it is your
responsibility to remove any mowing obstacles (chairs, carpets, sewer hoses, etc).
o All the park amenities and activities are included for the registered
seasonal camper. Guests must pay the daily use fee.
o While the Sandy Meadows golf course is separate business some of our
customers have found value in a golf membership next door.
o No worries about finding a spot for the weekend or setting up when you
get there!
2. Site Access and Storage:
o You’ll have access to your site throughout the entire camping season.
o Complimentary storage is available during the campground’s closure
period (End of October to early April). Agreements start Oct 20st.
3. The park is open Oct 20th, you are welcome to come camp and
winterize your camper on site after this date but before we close on
the 27th.
o Once you store your camper, it cannot be removed from the park due to
gate closures. However, you can walk back to your camper if needed (just
let us know beforehand so we expect to see someone on site). We continuously monitor the
park over the winter. Even while closed, you must always maintain insurance on your camper.
4. Security Measures:
o Our facility is gated, and we use plate readers to control access.
o Plate data is retained for three months.
o Cameras monitor both entrances, roads, and site entrances.
o Owners are on site 24-7 during the camping season.
4. Selective Offering:
o We’re being intentionally selective; offering seasonal sites only to vested
customers in good standing. It is important that we maintain a family
friendly atmosphere and we are being careful to only allow seasonals to
customers that will follow our rules.
o Our goal is to provide increased value to our most loyal customers while
continuing to maintain a quiet, family friendly environment.
o We’ll maintain the same level of service and quality as we do for our
overnight guests.
5. Renewal Option:
o Existing site guests can renew annually so long as they remain in good
standing.
o Our seasonal offering will include a max total of 12 sites
