Cancellation and Additional Policies

Online bookings for 2026 will be available January 1st.

Our campground will be open from April 7-October 26 in 2026. 

Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day weekends have three night minimum stay requirements. 

Some busy summer weekends may require a two night minimum.

Cabins require a two night minimum on ALL weekends.

Christmas in July Weekends July 10-11, July 17-18, July 24-25, and July/Aug 31-1 require a two night minimum. 

Halloween Celebration Weekends Oct 2-3,  Oct 9-10, and Oct 16-17 require two night minimum.

Event weekend rates are priced to include all event activities. 

Occupancy is based on six persons per site. It is $5 per additional person over the limit of six, some exceptions may be made for large families.

We use an automated license plate reader to grant gate access to our park.  Each reservation is given gate access for up to two vehicles and a camping unit (trailer or motorhome).  Additional vehicles cost $5 and must park on the gravel at your site or in overflow parking.

Reservations falling on Memorial Day (May 22-25), Fourth of July (July 3-6), Labor Day (Sept 4-7), Christmas in July (July 10-11, July 17-18, and July 24-25, July/Aug 31/1) and Halloween Weekends (Oct 2-3, Oct 9-10, and Oct 16-17) will follow the Holiday/Event Cancellation policy.

We give discounts for Military, Seniors, Returning Customers, the Dyrt, Harvest Hosts and Escapees.

Cancellation Policy

RV and Tent Sites Individual Reservation (booking one or two sites under one name):
Please Note: Reservations falling on Memorial Day (May 22-25), Fourth of July (July 3-6), Labor Day (Sept 4-7), Christmas in July (July 10-11, July 17-18, and July 24-25, July/Aug 31/1) and Halloween Weekends (Oct 2-3, Oct 9-10, and Oct 16-17) will follow the Holiday/Event Cancellation policy.
* To cancel customer must contact Double Nickel Campground at 402-728-5558. Please leave a message if no one answers and we will call you back.
* RV and tent sites are refundable less $18 processing charge per site if cancelled 7 days (one week) in advance.
* Cancellations made from six days up to 2pm (CST) the day before arrival will be refunded 50% of the reservation cost.
* Any cancellations made after 2pm (CST) the day before scheduled arrival will forfeit the entire reservation cost.
* If a customer fails to show up (no show) and does not notify Double Nickel Campground by 2pm the following day, they will lose their reservation on that site.

RV and Tent Sites Group Reservation (booking three or more sites under one name or group) and Holiday/Event Cancellation Policy:
* To cancel customer must contact Double Nickel Campground at 402-728-5558. Please leave a message if no one answers and we will call you back.
* RV and tent sites are refundable less $18 processing charge per site if cancelled 7 days (one week) in advance.
* If a customer fails to show up (no show) and does not notify Double Nickel Campground by 2pm the following day, they will lose their reservation on that site.

Cabin Rental Cancellation Policy:
* Deposits for Cabins are refundable less $18 processing charge per site if cancelled 7 days (one week) in advance. To cancel customer must contact Double Nickel at 402-728-5558 by close of business seven days before scheduled arrival.
* If a customer fails to show up (no show) and does not notify Double Nickel Campground by 2pm the following day, they will lose their reservation on that site.

Third party reservations (ex: The Dyrt, Hipcamp, Spot2Nite)
Third party cancellation policies will supersede our cancellation policy.
