About the Owners
Meet Jeff and Amanda Stoy, the heart and soul behind the Double Nickel Campground. As the proud owners and hands-on operators, Jeff and Amanda are passionate about creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment where guests feel right at home. Their journey into campground ownership began with a shared love of travel, the outdoors, and the joy of connecting with people from all walks of life. Since taking over Double Nickel, they’ve poured their hearts into every detail—working side by side to maintain the grounds, greet guests with a smile, and ensure everyone has a relaxing, enjoyable stay. Their two sons, Zander and Brodie, help them around the park. It really is a family affair!
Whether it’s recommending local attractions, helping with setup, or sharing a campfire story, Jeff and Amanda are always nearby, ready to make your visit special. Their genuine care and dedication shine through in everything they do—because to them, it’s more than just a business, it’s a way of life.

Our Work Campers
We have two dedicated work campers, Gwen and Chuck, that help us keep the park looking amazing. Their hardwork is evident from a sparking clean bathhouse to beautiful flowers gardens to nicely trimmed sites. And they are always willing to assist you!
Your Safety is Important to Us
We take your safety very important at the Double Nickel.
From safety gates to a storm shelter to security cameras, we have you covered.
We live on site and maintain visibility around the campground.
We have tag readers that open the security gates to your license plates. No codes needed or shared.
We have an underground storm shelter for moments of unpredictable weather.
